The globe valve realizes pipeline opening‑closing and flow regulation by lifting and lowering the disc driven by valve stem to press against the valve seat. Its flow channel is not straight, resulting in relatively high flow resistance. It features good sealing performance and short opening‑closing stroke. Available in straight‑way, angle and Y‑pattern types, mostly with flange connection. Widely used in chemical, water supply‑drainage, heating and oil‑gas pipelines, suitable for high‑temperature and high‑pressure working conditions. Not recommended for large‑diameter pipelines or media containing solid particles.
