Ball valve realizes pipeline opening and closing by rotating the ball‑shaped plug at 90 degrees. A through hole is arranged in the ball; the pipeline is open when the hole is aligned and closed when misaligned. It has simple structure, fast switching, low fluid resistance and excellent sealing performance. Types include two‑way, three‑way and four‑way. Available in fluorine‑lined, cast‑steel, stainless‑steel materials with flange, wafer and thread connections. Widely used in water supply‑drainage, sewage treatment, chemical and oil‑gas pipelines, suitable for corrosive media. Not suitable for super‑high‑temperature service. Can be equipped with manual, electric or pneumatic actuators.
