‑Crash guardrail: W‑beam, bridge guardrail, withstand vehicle impact. ‑Separation railing: municipal road, factory perimeter for zoning. ‑Safety railing: balcony, staircase, boardwalk for personal fall protection. ‑Landscape railing: riverside & park, combine protection and decoration.

2. By material

‑Q235B carbon steel: general highway & municipal works, cost‑effective. ‑Q355B carbon steel: bridges, high‑risk sections, higher crash‑resistance. ‑304/316 stainless steel: coastal salt‑spray environment. ‑Aluminum alloy: lightweight landscape railing.

3. By anti‑corrosion finish

‑Hot‑dip galvanized: zinc coating 60‑85 μm, preferred for outdoor and export. ‑Hot‑dip galvanized + powder‑coated: dual anti‑corrosion, various colors for municipal & landscape. ‑Dip‑coated: thick coating, good corrosion resistance. ‑Paint finish: low‑cost, poor weather resistance, only for temporary use.

2‑wave beam: thickness 3.0 mm /4.0 mm; width 310 mm, length 4320 mm. 3‑wave beam: thickness 4.0 mm; width 505 mm. Posts: Φ114×4.5 mm, Φ140×4.5 mm round tube. Municipal railing: height 0.6‑1.2 m, single section length 2‑3 m. Bridge guardrail: height 1.1‑1.4 m.

2. Production Process

Steel coil uncoiling → cold roll forming → CNC cutting → welding of flanges & fittings → straightening & shaping → deburring → hot‑dip galvanizing → (optional powder‑coating / dip‑coating) → inspection of dimension, coating and welds → bundling & wooden‑pallet packing.

3. Key Features

‑W‑beam guardrail: semi‑rigid system, absorbs impact energy via component deformation. Excellent crash‑performance, convenient maintenance, preferred for highway & road projects. ‑Municipal railing: tidy appearance with reflective strips for traffic separation; lower impact‑resistance than W‑beam crash guardrail. ‑Bridge guardrail: high rigidity & strength to prevent vehicle falling; heavy weight, requires solid foundation anchoring. ‑General notes: Hot‑dip galvanizing is standard for export. Bolt grade, actual sheet thickness and zinc‑coating thickness are critical quality indexes. Under‑thickness negative tolerance is forbidden. ‑Limitations: Coating scratches lead to local rust; periodic bolt‑tightening inspection required. Dual coating (HDG + powder coat) recommended for coastal salt‑spray areas.

‑China: GB/T 31439.1‑2025 W‑beam steel guardrail; JTG D81 Highway traffic‑safety‑facility code; GB/T 37988 Safety standard for protective railings.

6. Selection Guidance

  1. Highway crash‑protection: prefer hot‑dip galvanized W‑beam guardrail. 3.0 mm thickness for ordinary sections; 4.0 mm for high‑risk sections.
  2. Bridge projects adopt Q355B high‑strength steel; urban road separation: powder‑coated municipal railing.
  3. Coastal salt‑spray environment: choose HDG + powder dual‑coating or 304 stainless steel.
  4. For export orders verify actual sheet thickness, post wall thickness, zinc‑coating mass, bolt grade and full accessory list. Require MTC and coating‑inspection reports.
