Hammer Crusher
Hammer crusher is impact‑type crushing equipment. Motor drives high‑speed rotor with hinged hammers. Inside crushing chamber, raw materials are struck, impacted, sheared and attrited by hammers; particles collide against liners and each other for fragmentation. Bottom grate bars control product size; material smaller than grate gap discharges, oversize remains for re‑crushing. Mainly for medium‑hard brittle materials with compressive strength ≤100 MPa. Widely used in mining, coal, building materials, cement and construction‑waste recycling.

1. PC Standard Hammer Crusher
‑ Principle: Single‑rotor with hinged hammers, fitted with bottom grate bars. ‑ Features: Large reduction ratio, fine output; hammers are main wear parts. ‑ Max feed ≤350 mm; capacity:5‑150 t/h. ‑ Application: Medium‑fine crushing for limestone, coal, gypsum, shale.
2. PCZ Heavy‑Duty Hammer Crusher
‑ Principle: Heavy‑weight hammers with high kinetic energy; one‑stage crushing replaces two‑stage process. ‑ Features: Accept large feed lump, may skip primary jaw‑crushing step; high throughput. ‑ Max feed ≤1000 mm; capacity:60‑3000 t/h. ‑ Application: Primary crushing for limestone quarry, aggregate lines, construction waste processing.
3. HS Ring‑Hammer Crusher
‑ Principle: Pivoted ring‑shaped hammers. ‑ Features: Good iron‑passing performance, low jamming risk; optimized for coal. ‑ Application: Coal crushing for power plant, coking raw‑material preparation.
2. Main Components
Machine frame, rotor assembly, hammers, crushing liners, bottom grate bars, pulley & flywheel, electric motor. Hammers, liners and grate bars are high‑manganese wear‑resistant parts. Product size adjusted by changing grate‑bar gaps.
3. Key Features
‑ Large reduction ratio, fine finished size in single pass; simple structure, light machine weight. ‑ Hinged swinging hammers can yield when un‑crushable iron enters, protecting main machine. ‑ Output particle size adjustable via grate‑bar clearance. ‑ Not suitable for highly‑abrasive hard rock (granite, basalt), causing rapid hammer wear. ‑ Capacity:5‑3000 t/h; maximum feed size up to 1000 mm.
4. Typical Applications
Crushing of limestone, coal, coal gangue, gypsum, shale, coke, construction waste; cement raw‑material processing; coal‑preparation system for power plant. Process flow options: Raw material → Heavy hammer primary crushing → Screening; or Jaw‑crusher primary crushing → PC hammer secondary crushing → Screening.

6. Selection Guidance
- Limestone large lump feed, skip jaw crusher: choose PCZ heavy‑duty hammer crusher.
- Coal / power‑plant coal handling: select HS ring‑hammer crusher.
- Avoid hammer crusher for hard abrasive rock (granite, basalt) due to excessive wear‑part consumption.
- Not fit for high‑moisture sticky feed; wet material tends to block grate bars.
- Finer output requires smaller grate gap, which will reduce equipment throughput.
